KGChems.com Shipping Policy

Welcome to KGChems.com, the official online order portal for Kitchen Guard franchisees. Below is our shipping policy to ensure smooth and transparent delivery of your orders.


1. Shipping Carriers

We work with a shipping broker to secure the most competitive rates across multiple carriers. Specific carrier selection is not available at checkout, as the broker determines the best option for each shipment.
This method allows us to ensure the most cost-efficient shipping options for franchisees while maintaining reliable delivery standards.


2. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, destination, and type of material being shipped.
  • Please note that HAZMAT fees may apply to certain shipments, which can result in higher shipping charges.
  • Ordering in larger quantities can reduce the shipping cost per pound due to economies of scale.
  • Franchisees must pay for products at checkout to initiate the order process. Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive a separate invoice for freight, HAZMAT, and any additional shipping fees. This invoice will be sent to your registered admin email.
  • All freight invoices are valid for 7 calendar days from the time they are issued. Orders will not be shipped until full payment for freight and related charges has been received and cleared.
  • Once your order is ready for shipment, KGBC LLC will make up to three (3) payment requests for any unpaid shipping and handling invoices, with one reminder sent per week for three consecutive weeks. If the invoice remains unpaid at the end of the third week, the order will be canceled. The customer will be responsible for any and all disposal fees incurred, which will be invoiced separately. The customer’s account will also be suspended until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
  • Shipping costs, including HAZMAT fees where applicable, are non-refundable once paid.

3. Order Processing Times

  • All orders are subject to a 10-business day lead time. This timeframe allows us to account for vendor lead times and prepare your order for shipment (including issuing the final invoice).
  • KGBC LLC is not responsible for any additional time taken by franchisees to pay the final invoice.
  • Orders are processed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed after 4 PM CST will begin processing the next business day.
  • If additional time is required to process your order, we will notify you promptly to ensure clear communication.
  • Please note that lead times may be affected by factors such as product availability or high order volumes.

4. Delivery Time

  • Delivery times generally range from 3–7 business days depending on the destination.
  • All orders are shipped from Westmont, IL, our fulfillment facility.
  • Please note that delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as carrier delays, weather conditions, or holidays.
  • If there are significant delays in transit, franchisees will be notified promptly to ensure clear communication and resolution.

5. Shipment Tracking

  • Franchisees will receive tracking information once it is created and made available by the selected freight carrier.
  • Tracking details, including a link to the carrier's tracking website, will be emailed to franchisees for convenience.
  • If you do not receive tracking information within 1 business day of shipment, please contact KGChems.com via the "Contact Us" form for assistance.

6. Handling of Hazardous Materials

  • Due to the nature of the chemicals being ordered, hazardous materials (hazmat) considerations will apply.
  • All applicable hazmat fees are determined by carrier requirements and will be included in the invoice total. These fees are non-negotiable.
  • We ensure compliance with all hazmat regulations to prioritize safety and proper handling during shipment.

7. Special Delivery Instructions

  • Any and all special delivery instructions must be provided during the checkout process to ensure proper handling of your shipment.
  • Common special delivery requirements include, but are not limited to:
    • Lift gate service
    • Limited access delivery (e.g., schools, hospitals, or construction sites)
    • Appointment delivery
    • Inside delivery or white-glove service
  • Failure to disclose these requirements at checkout may result in additional fees, such as re-delivery charges or equipment surcharges, which will be invoiced separately.

8. Lost or Delayed Shipments

  • In the event of a lost or delayed shipment, franchisees should contact KGChems.com using the "Contact Us" form.
  • Franchisees must report lost or delayed shipments within 48 hours of the expected delivery date to ensure timely resolution.
  • KGBC LLC will coordinate with Boyer Corporation and the selected freight carrier to resolve the issue. This may include filing claims, investigating the shipment status, and providing updates to the franchisee.
  • We will maintain communication with the franchisee throughout the resolution process to ensure transparency and support.

9. International Shipping

  • KGChems.com does not offer international sales or shipping.
  • All orders are limited to franchisees located within the United States. We are unable to ship to U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or P.O. boxes.

10. Changes or Cancellations

  • Franchisees may request changes or cancellations to their orders only before the order fulfillment process begins.
  • Once fulfillment has started, changes or cancellations cannot be accommodated, as costs may have already been incurred during the preparation process.
  • To request a change or cancellation, franchisees must submit their request via the "Contact Us" form on KGChems.com.
  • KGBC LLC will confirm receipt of your request and follow up as soon as possible to discuss next steps.

Agreement to Terms

  • By placing an order on KGChems.com, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this shipping policy.
